    I have been asking Powell Florist to deliver anniversary and Valentines flowers to my wife who is a teacher for many years. They are always beautiful and she is very happy with them!     The flowers that my wife received were not up to the quality of the flowers that we have received from Powell florist in the past. They were wilted and old looking and did not last 3 days. I have used powell florist for all of my flower purchases ever since my cousin Deana who owns LULU's Tea Room recommend them to me. We have received excellent flowers in the past but this order fell way short of what we came to expect.

    Delivery was a day late and they did not have what I purchased in stock, so I switched to something else of the same value. I was sent an email late that night notifying me of this. That being said, it was Mother's Day weekend and during the Coronavirus pandemic, so I understand these issues. I just wish I was told sooner so I wasn't waiting on a delivery that wasn't coming. Love the arrangement though, and they were very kind and apologetic.

    My main concern was I got a confirmation email that my flowers were delivered four days after the funeral. Whether they were actually there on time and the email was late I am not sure. I am out of state and still waiting to find out from the family if the flowers ever arrived.

    My daughter said her flowers were beautiful, but the vase was not a square glass one as shown in photo. That vase was one of the reasons I ordered the arrangement. It was different, a bit more contemporary which I knew my daughter would like. Other than that, the experience was good. Next time I will ask specifically if they have a particular flower or vase, as shown in photo, before ordering.

    I just wanted to say thank you to the lady that helped my sister and I out the other day with the wreath we ordered . They went above and beyond in making the wreath look perfect. It was so beautiful! Whenever we walked in and saw our grandfather we were very torn and upset. We looked over and saw the wreath and both our eyes got wide as we saw the Vols ribbon wrapped around and all the flowers and the wreath itself. It made us so happy. We couldn't believe how beautiful it was! We can't thank you enough, certainly put a smile on our face during this hard time.
